Help bring smiles to our littlest park visitors at our Spring Stuffies event! Volunteers will assist children as they adopt their very own stuffed animal friend and help them complete a special “birth certificate” for their new buddy.

Volunteer Duties:

We need your help to restore our natural areas!

Join us on Saturday, March 21 from 10:00am–12:00pm for a Cache In, Trash Out (CITO) event with a special focus on invasive species removal. This collaborative effort between our Parks Natural Resources Team and the Wastewater Department will focus on removing invasive bush honeysuckle to improve habitat for native plants and wildlife.

As an official CITO event, participating geocachers will earn their CITO souvenir/token on the geocaching platform — a great way to give back to the trails we love while adding to your geocaching accomplishments!

What We’ll Be Doing:

Learning how to properly identify invasive bush honeysuckle Cutting shrubs down using hand loppers Applying herbicide to freshly cut stumps (staff-directed) to prevent regrowth Removing and piling brush
