Volunteer Responsibilities:

Event Crew:

·       Assist staff with setting up promotional table and tent.

·       Help prepare the venue and ensuring the area is clean and welcoming.

·       Lead or assist with pre-movie games, crafts, or activities to engage attendees.

·       Interact with families and kids to keep the fun going before the movie begins.

·       Operate the popcorn machine and ensure fresh popcorn is always ready for movie-goers.

·       Serve snacks with a smile and help create a memorable experience for attendees.

Join us for a peaceful evening under the full moon as we take a guided hike through Williams Park. Led by our park naturalist, this one-hour hike offers a chance to explore nature after dark. As a volunteer, you’ll help ensure the safety of participants while enjoying the beauty of the night.

Volunteer Responsibilities:

Serve as the "hike caboose" to maintain the line of hikers and ensure participant safety throughout the hike. Assist with guiding participants on the flat, gravel terrain. Help with any minor needs that arise during the hike and communicate with the park naturalist if necessary. Encourage a fun and engaging atmosphere while respecting the natural environment.

What to Bring:

A flashlight or headlamp (will be provided). Comfortable walking shoes. Dress for the weather and bring any personal items you may need (e.g., water, insect repellent).

No special experience is needed—just a love for the outdoors and a willingness to help others enjoy the night hike.

Once registered, we’ll provide you with additional details to prepare for the event.
