Join Us for a Clean & Green Celebration!

Are you ready to make a positive impact on our planet?

Join our Natural Resources team in removing garlic mustard, an invasive plant that threatens native wildflowers and forest habitats. Volunteers will learn how to identify garlic mustard and safely remove it to help restore healthy ecosystems.

Location: Arbuckle Acres Park, shelter 6 on the lower level

What to Expect

  • Brief training on identifying garlic mustard

  • Guided removal in targeted park areas

  • Opportunity to support habitat restoration in our parks

Who Can Volunteer

  • Individuals, students, clubs, and community groups

  • Great for those interested in conservation and invasive species management

What to Bring

  • Work gloves (if you have them)

  • Closed-toe shoes

  • Long pants recommended

Supplies will be provided.


After volunteering, stay and enjoy our Arbor Day Celebration from 9:00 AM–12:00 PM at Arbuckle Acres Park.

Activities include:

  • Tree Planting Demonstration at 11:30 AM

  • Free Tulip Tree Giveaway

  • Family-Friendly Arbor Day Activities
