Description

Join us for an evening hike in Williams Park. Leave the lights off and experience the beautiful nature of Williams Park with all your senses. As a volunteer, you’ll help ensure the safety of participants while enjoying the beauty of the night.

Event Details:

  • Time:  7:30-8:30pm
  • Volunteer Shift: 7:00-8:45pm
  • Location: Williams Park, 940 S Locust Ln, Brownsburg, IN 46112

Volunteer Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the "hike caboose" to maintain the line of hikers and ensure participant safety throughout the hike.
  • Assist with guiding participants on the flat, gravel terrain.
  • Help with any minor needs that arise during the hike and communicate with the park naturalist if necessary.
  • Encourage a fun and engaging atmosphere while respecting the natural environment.

What to Bring:

  • A flashlight or headlamp (will be provided).
  • Comfortable walking shoes.
  • Dress for the weather and bring any personal items you may need (e.g., water, insect repellent).

No special experience is needed—just a love for the outdoors and a willingness to help others enjoy the night hike.
