Help us give one of our community’s favorite play spaces a fresh new look! Join Parks staff for a Volunteer Day dedicated to repainting our beloved Blastoff Playground. With your help, we’ll refresh worn areas and make sure the playground is looking its best for a season full of climbing, sliding, and imagination. No painting experience is needed, just a willingness to lend a hand and have some fun!
All supplies will be provided. Please wear clothes you don’t mind getting a little paint on.
Volunteer Shifts:
Friday, April 17
- AM Shift: 8:30 AM – 11:30 PM
- PM
Shift: 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM
(Lunch provided for volunteers who work the whole day!)
Saturday, April 18
- Half-Day
Shift: 9:00 AM – 12:00
PM
Final touch-ups and detailed painting to complete the project.
Volunteer Responsibilities:
- Assist staff with painting playground structures and designated areas
- Help prep and clean painting supplies
- Support final touch-ups and detail work
- Work as a team to help refresh the playground for the community
