Help us kick off the holiday season with one of Brownsburg’s most magical traditions—our Christmas Under the Stars Parade! Each year, hundreds of families line the streets to enjoy sparkling floats, cheerful performers, and festive lights. To make the parade run smoothly, we rely on a team of organized and energetic volunteers to guide participants, manage staging areas, and help keep everything merry and bright.

Volunteer Shift: (5 volunteers needed)
- Saturday, December 6th
- 3:30-6:15 PM
- Brown Elementary
Requirements:
- Be 18 years or older
- Be available to meet with Parks staff the day before the parade for a required safety training
- Be comfortable directing parade participants and helping manage crowd flow
Volunteer Responsibilities:
- Organize and direct parade entries to their correct lineup locations
- Monitor walker drop-off points to ensure participants get where they need to go
- Staff and monitor designated entrance points
- Assist with barricades and signage to keep the staging area safe, clear, and well-organized
- Work as a team with staff to keep staging running smoothly from start to finish
